Why the median is the useful benchmark

A few expensive shows and large service packages pulled the average up to $4,218. The median is less affected by those outliers. A practical first budget for booth space is $3,000–$5,000.

How we chose a price

One 10×10 price per show

Organizer-published price for a standard 10×10 or exactly derivable 100-square-foot trade show booth offer; an explicit space-only tier is preferred, mandatory service packages are labeled, and booking fees are reported separately. Per-square-foot rates were multiplied by 100. Member, deadline, corner, and package rules appear with each show.

What the price buys

A booth offer is not always bare space

Organizers use similar names for offers that include very different things. We grouped them into three types.

Space fee

Floor space priced separately from most services.

Standard booth fee

A conventional 10×10 exhibitor fee with limited inclusions.

Service package

An offer with material services, furnishings, utilities, promotion, membership, or other bundled items.

All published 10×10 offers$3,700195 shows
Service packages$3,188106 shows
Standard booth and space fees$4,00089 shows
106 service packages60 standard booth fees29 space fees

The service-package median is lower because the groups contain different shows and sectors. These figures do not measure the value of the services included.

Before choosing a show

Compare two offers correctly

  1. Confirm the booth dimensions and whether pricing is per booth or per square foot.
  2. Check member, deadline, and corner eligibility.
  3. Add mandatory organizer fees.
  4. Identify included services and use the rate you can actually obtain.

Methodology and limitations

We reviewed organizer rate cards, exhibitor prospectuses, applications, official event pages, and organizer booking platforms. We included a show only when an official source confirmed the 2026 U.S. event and gave an exact price for a standard 10×10 booth or 100 square feet. We excluded starting prices, different booth sizes, older prices, and quote-only offers.

Each show contributes one price. We used a space-only rate when one was available, kept service packages clearly labeled, and listed required fees separately. Each 2026 show edition appears once.

These findings describe the 195 shows we verified; they are not a nationally representative estimate. The shows were not randomly selected or weighted. Shows with private or quote-only prices are less likely to appear, and industry and regional groups are not evenly sized.
